The Nevada Physical Therapy Board would like to thank those who are providing essential services during these challenging times.

Mission:
The Nevada Physical Therapy Board protects and promotes the health and safety of Nevadans by pursuing the highest quality of physical therapy practice through education, communication, licensing, legislation, regulation, and enforcement. Physical Therapy services is one of the essential healthcare services that has been permitted and encouraged to continue operation, while adopting COVID-

19 risk mitigation measures that reduce the risk of community disease spread. As we monitor the impact of COVID-19, and prepare for the reopening of businesses in the coming weeks and months, we encourage all licensees to continue following CDC protocols and state and local guidance to help prevent exposure and keep themselves safe. Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants are strongly encouraged to continue to follow safe practices and CDC guidance. Dear Licensees,

The Nevada Physical Therapy Board will hold a public hearing at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 5, 2022. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from all interested persons regarding the adoption of LCB File No. R124-21, a regulation that pertains to chapter 640 of the Nevada Administrative Code. The Public Hearing will be conducted and may be attended via videoconference or teleconference.
