A reminder of what our Big 3 Initiative entails!

1.Have your student here, on time, every day
2.Have your student read at home
3.Keep consistent 2-way communication between you and the teacher

That's it! A staff member here will recognize the effort you're putting in, and will enter you and your student into a raffle. Each month, we will pick a winner to receive a $100 gift card!

¡Un recordatorio de en qué consiste nuestra iniciativa «Los 3 Grandes»!

1. Asegúrate de que tu estudiante asista a clase, a tiempo, todos los días.
2. Fomenta que tu estudiante lea en casa.
3. Mantén una comunicación constante y bidireccional con el maestro o la maestra.

Here are some important upcoming days! Oct. 30th, we have Nevada Day, so there will be no school. Nov. 2nd is Picture Day, so please have your student come ready with a smile! And Nov. 3rd is Election Day, so there is no school on that day as well!

Congratulations to one of our first Students of the Month, Azion! From now until the end of the school year, we are selecting 12 Students of the Month, two from each grade level! Along with their very own custom T-shirt, Students of the Month receive an award and a goodie bag full of gift cards, snacks, and toys! Congratulations to all our winners!

That's right, R.I.S.E. Academy families! If your student is in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade and you attend Parent-Teacher Conference Day, your student can go home with a Chromebook to use for homework! Join us on Monday, October 12th, for either session one at 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM, or session two at 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM for your opportunity to borrow one. See you then!

Congratulations to our October Big 3 winner, Khamari! What's the "Big 3," you might ask? It is a new initiative we are putting on at Dean Petersen. If you bring your student to school on time every day, read with your child at home, and keep consistent two-way communication with your student's teacher, you may be nominated by a staff member for a chance to win a gift card! We will pick one winner from the parents who participate!

Hello R.I.S.E. Academy families! Count Day is coming this Friday, August 28th, and we need your students here! Count Day is how our classrooms stay small in size, resources get funded, and your student's education gets prioritized! Please have your student present and ready to start learning by 7:25. Thank you!
