🚨 Tropicana Closure Begins NOW – Plan Ahead! 🚨
From 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 30 to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 1:

🔒 Closures include:
• Tropicana Ave CLOSED in both directions between Polaris Ave and Las Vegas Blvd
• Southbound I-15 off-ramp to westbound Tropicana CLOSED
• Southbound I-15 flyover to eastbound Tropicana CLOSED
• Tropicana on-ramp to northbound I-15 CLOSED
• Northbound I-15 off-ramp to Tropicana remains CLOSED
• Tropicana on-ramp to southbound I-15 remains CLOSED

⚠️ Please use alternate routes and allow extra time for travel near the Strip.

✅ When Tropicana reopens Thursday morning:
• Full capacity: 4 lanes in each direction on Tropicana between Polaris and LV Blvd
◦ Turn lanes to north/southbound I-15 temporarily reduced to 1 lane while median work continues
• Widened northbound I-15 off-ramp to Tropicana reopens
• Reconstructed Tropicana on-ramp to southbound I-15 reopens
• Additional lanes open on southbound I-15 flyover to eastbound Tropicana
• Tropicana on-ramp to northbound I-15 remains in reduced capacity for now

Major Closure ➡️ Big Updates!
The Tropicana Interchange will soon reopen to near-full capacity! But first, it will be CLOSED from 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 1, for striping and traffic signal calibration.

🔹 During the closure:
-Tropicana Ave CLOSED between Polaris Ave and Las Vegas Blvd
-All on/off-ramps to and from Tropicana Ave CLOSED

🔹 After the closure, NDOT will reopen:
-Tropicana Ave to four lanes in each direction over I-15
-Newly widened northbound I-15 off-ramp to east and westbound Tropicana Ave
-Newly reconstructed Tropicana Ave on-ramp to southbound I-15
-Additional lanes on the southbound I-15 flyover ramp to eastbound Tropicana Ave

Some turn lanes will remain reduced while median work continues. Drivers should plan ahead and expect changes in traffic patterns!

🚧 Heads up, Southern Nevada! Major closure alert! 🚧

The Tropicana Ave Interchange is being reverted from its temporary diverging diamond design back to a standard interchange, and that means a full closure starting TONIGHT:

🕘 9 PM Sunday, March 9 – 5 AM Friday, March 14 (24/7 closure)

🚦 Closed:
🔹 Tropicana Ave from Polaris Ave to NY-NY
🔹 SB I-15 off-ramp to Tropicana Ave
🔹 Tropicana Ave on-ramp to NB I-15
