What an inspiring afternoon at Her Legacy: A Women’s Leadership Luncheon! Grateful to Patranya Bhoolsuwan for hosting such a powerful gathering of women leaders here in Las Vegas.

It’s always energizing to be in a room full of women building, leading, and lifting each other up. Thank you to the panelists who shared their wisdom and journeys: Juanny Romero, Maho Sugai, Maggie Chui, and Catherine Francisco. Each of you brings something different to the table, and that’s exactly what makes our community stronger.

Our last stop was with Sasi Phothidokmai, of Weera Thai.

Sasi and her family carried forward a culinary legacy their parents built in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 1978. They brought it to Las Vegas in 2010 and grew it into five thriving Southern Nevada locations. That’s not just a business success story. That’s a family betting on this community and winning.

Governor Beshear wrapped up the tour with Sasi talking workforce recovery, scaling a family brand, and what it takes to build something that lasts. The answer, every time, is people. Families. Stories passed down across generations and across oceans.

This corridor is proof. And it deserves every federal dollar we can fight for.
