In Memoriam -
DOHS is a No Place for Hate School. The Carter Center along with other civil rights organizations work closely as resources to support the students in the ADL No Place for Hate Student Consortium and staff in culturally responsive instruction here and we honor the passing of this honorable man for his: Leadership as President and Governor; Compassion as a Humanitarian and Civil Rights Activist; Courage as a WWII veteran and Diplomat; and his stance on Justice for All People.

Find your current ID Badge 2024-2025, have the correct lanyard and the lanyard around your neck. ID Must Be Visible with Photo showing at all times.

Desert Oasis High School continued to have a successful cultural celebration month this past November with 1st Nations Native American and Indigenous People Heritage Month sponsored by the Equity Leadership Team Committee and the ADL-No Place for Hate Student Consortium.

Cultural lessons, idea exchanges, historical overviews, local exposure, it was a cornucopia of collective experiences. Thank you.

Our next two big project will be our annual African American celebration month in February and our 9th Annual Women in Leadership Speaker Series in March...Stay tuned.

Band/Color Guard is having a fundraiser this Sunday Oct 27th at Broken Yolk Cafe on Rainbow/Blue Diamond.

This event is free for treating - each of our booths will be giving out free candy! (Like a truck-or-treat, but indoors).
We will have:
- Haunted House ($5, opens at 6 pm)
- One-act theater plays for $5, starting every hour
- a ton of festival booths with snacks and games.
- 3 Costume Contests - elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- A pie-eating contest
- Corn Maze
We also have a special Calm and Sensory-Sensitive hour from 4pm-5pm to include any students with disabilities.

We hope to see everyone there!
