Congratulations to Washoe YRs President Spencer Flanders and his executive committee for holding their first post-charter meeting, TOMORROW.

If you’re a Republican in Washoe County ages 18-40, you should be there!

Last weekend the Young Republican National Federation hosted their National Committee meeting and Summer Conference.

Joey Charafi holding our Chairman’s proxy, our National Committeeman Caleb Myers and National Committeewoman Julia Bush represented our state.

Nevada continues its tradition of making a huge impact on the national stage.

Our delegation represented Nevada at the Young Republican National Federation convention, and we did not fly across the country to sit quietly.

Nevada helped lead an amendment to bring College Republican federations into the national organization, built on a principle every conservative understands: the authority that does not need to sit at the national level belongs to the states. LVYR’s own Joey Charafi, serving as proxy, addressed the body and presented it on the floor.

The adopted language protects every state’s sovereignty and shields federations from liabilities they did not create. Off the floor, we spent the weekend building the nationwide coalitions that carry our mission forward, and we walked the Freedom Trail where American self-government began.

Nevada showed up and led. This is what the next generation of conservative leadership looks like.

Keep America Smart. 🇺🇸

We applaud our neighbors to the west for taking decisive action. We won’t tolerate it in Nevada either.

Republican organizations exist to elect Republicans. Period.

STATEMENT

Tonight, the California Young Republicans voted to formally disband the Madera Young Republicans chapter, effective immediately, due to their endorsement of a Democratic candidate, which is a direct violation of our constitution and bylaws. Make no mistake about it: we remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission of recruiting, training, and electing Republicans. This unprecedented action underscores our dedication to organizational integrity and the principles that define us. As we look ahead to November, we are energized and ready to help change the tide in California by supporting Republican candidates up and down the ballot.

NVYR Chairman Woodrow Johnston was featured in a discussion on AI in politics.

AI is reshaping Oklahoma campaigns with new tools for polling and attack ads, leaving lawmakers racing to regulate it.
