How can we as a nation expect that God would bless this nation when the President of the United States take Spiritual counsel from a woman. And not just any woman, but a woman known to be a heretic, and is not a Pastor! For the very Word of God prohibits women from holding any position over a man!

How can anyone look up into the Heavens and see the moon, the sun, the stars, even the Milky Way and say there is no God? In the beginning God, God created all that was ever created, spoken into existence, He filled the vast emptiness of the skies with all we can see today, amazing beauty with unbelievable majesty all around. The work of God's fingers as the psalmist puts it, you God, placed the moon and the stars in their place, God did that. And when we consider all of this vastness in the skies, in space, we are so minuscule in comparison, so what is man that you, O Lord, are mindful of him? And even the Son of man that you care for him? When we ponder God and all He has created and all He keeps in perfect order, and then think about little us, and we know that God knows us perfectly and cares for us and loves us unconditionally, Oh, the wonder of it all. God knows you, God loves you, for God created you... Have you considered the Lord? Jesus Saves!

Critical, we must all be there !

The Apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote this amazing letter to the people in Rome. This book is a journey through many aspects of salvation, life, God's amazing grace, and includes a portion, chapters nine through eleven to the Jewish people. And now Paul brings it all together with a plea for all believers to come to the Lord and surrender fully to Him. Through God's infinite mercy and His amazing grace, now present to Him your body in full obedience, give your body to the Lord as a living sacrifice. This means that you give up your will for His will, that you no longer live a life that is pleasing to you, but a life that is not only pleasing to God, but brings Him glory in every way. Paul says this is what is Holy, what is acceptable to God and this is your Spiritual worship to God. The Apostle is explaining the way of life that a true Christian should be living, fully surrendered to the Lord... not part time, not when you feel like it, not just the parts of life that look good, but every aspect, every part of your being is surrendered to the Lord, Jesus Saves!

What do you really have to worry about? For whatever reason we allow ourselves to get all worked up over a whole lot of nothing. Sure there are the big things that we should be concerned about, but at the end of the day... can we do anything about them? Most of what we worry about never even comes to fruition, and the little things that do come about, do not matter at all. Let's all set aside all that 'stuff' that ties us in knots and lay it at the foot of the cross and use our limited time to do something productive, like love on someone. Worry and anxiety is an absolute waste of time, it causes us unneeded pain and strife in our life, it consumes rather than grows our life. God is in control, God has a plan, and we might not know all the plans He has for our life and the world, but we can trust HIm, and we can know that whatever comes our way, God already knows it and has a plan for it, Jesus Saves!

As Paul greets the church that he planted at Philippi, he uses his usual greeting, but then adds an amazing statement of truth and faith about God. The Lord is the creator of all things, He is the creator of each one of us, and He knows exactly how our lives will unfold, good or bad. The Lord has a perfect plan for us, and our personality plays a big part in how we grow in that plan. Most of us had visions or dreams of what our life would look like when we became adults, and probably most of us had no idea it would turn out the way it did. Oftentimes we start out in a certain direction, but due to life circumstances that direction changes for good or for bad. But no matter what path you are on in your life, God plays a major role in what we become. Here Paul makes a point that through faith we have trusted in the Lord, and He is working in and through us each day, and Paul says, He will complete that good work, that it will be done at the day of Christ Jesus. Know that God has a good plan in mind, may we each embrace that plan with joy in our hearts as we travel His narrow path, Jesus Saves!

When a person comes to faith in Christ he is filled with the Holy Spirit, but in walking with the Lord, we are empowered by and through the Holy Spirit of God. We go from an immature Christian to a mature Christian who has an intimate relationship with the Lord, and walks with Him daily. Sometimes people cannot understand why they feel powerless in the Lord, why they never hear His voice or feel His presence... The answer is usually pretty simple, they are not in full relationship with the Lord, they are walking at a distance and never growing in Christ. In this verse the Apostle Paul is saying that he is praying for you to be strengthened by and through the power of the Holy Spirit, that you would be filled with the Spirit, that your inner being would be flooded with the Spirit of God. We should each be praying this every day, that God would fill us to overflowing daily, that we would be walking by faith and listening to the Spirit's call on our life, Jesus Saves!
