🎤✨ A farewell filled with poetry, art and community.

We recently gathered at Wi******er Dondero Cultural Center to celebrate the legacy of Clark County Poet Laureate Ashley “Ms. AyeVee” Vargas and the impact she has made on our creative community.

The evening brought together live music, dance, poetry, local artisans and community members for a celebration of creativity and connection. A special moment of the evening was the official dedication of Ms. AyeVee’s Bench, a new public art installation honoring her contributions to Clark County’s arts and cultural community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Ms. AyeVee and helped make the evening so meaningful. While it may have been a farewell, her words, work and legacy will continue to have a place in our community. 🎨💛

🔴 Community, competition and remembrance came together at The Great American Kickoff!

Desert Breeze Ballfields welcomed community members, local first responders and veterans for an afternoon of friendly competition and connection.

Teams from Clark County, LVMPD, CCFD and VAREP faced off in the kickball tournament, while guests enjoyed a barbecue grill-off and a showcase of more than 60 classic and custom cars.
The event also included a special tribute ceremony honoring fallen heroes and service members, bringing everyone together for a meaningful moment of remembrance.

🌲 Three days, two nights and plenty of memories made at Camp Silver Pines!

Seniors headed up to Camp Lee Canyon for a special getaway filled with fresh mountain air, good food, new friendships and plenty of ways to stay active.

From hiking, outdoor cooking and exercise to arts and crafts, workshops, the high ropes course and quiet time beneath the pines, Camp Silver Pines offered a little something for everyone.

Thank you to all of the participants and staff who made this year’s camp such a meaningful and memorable experience. We loved seeing everyone connect, explore and enjoy a few days away in the mountains!
