Pollinator Week wrap-up! While Corn Creek at Desert NWR is a paradise for desert pollinators, you don't need space the size of the refuge to help. From planting native, flowering plants to changing how you "clean up" your outdoor space, there are simple steps you can take to help pollinators around where you live. Learn to be a good pollinator host!

Did you know that Mojave desert tortoises can live for approximately 50 to 80 years and spend as much as nine months each year inside their burrows? Learn more about tortoises and other iconic desert wildlife this Saturday, June 6, from 10 am - 12 pm. LUGVegas (LEGO® Users Group of Southern Nevada), Tule Springs Fossil Beds, and the refuge staff host a free drop-in program where all ages can learn through hands-on activities and custom builds inspired by Mojave desert wildlife.

New Visitor Center Hours! For July & August, the Corn Creek visitor center will be open Friday-Monday, 8:00am-3:00pm. It will be closed Tuesday-Thursday. Corn Creek trails, bathrooms, and drinking water are available sunrise to sunset, every day.

Join LUGVegas (LEGO® Users Group of Southern Nevada), Tule Springs Fossil Beds, and staff at the Corn Creek Visitor Center on June 6th from 10 am - 12 pm for an engaging drop-in program.
