From the very first pitch of District play to the bright lights of the Little League World Series, what an absolutely incredible journey it has been for Paseo Verde Little League! 💚💛

To our players — THANK YOU for giving us everything you had. Your hard work, determination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for the game made this journey unforgettable. You represented Paseo Verde, Henderson, Nevada, and the Mountain Region with incredible pride. We couldn’t be more proud of you! 🏆

To our families — this journey doesn’t happen without you. The early mornings, long drives, packed bags, cheers from the stands, sacrifices, and unwavering support mean more than words can say. ❤️

To our coaches, volunteers, and District family — thank you for everything you did behind the scenes and on the field to give these players an experience they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

And to the AMAZING fans and supporters — WOW! 🙌

Every cheer, message, post, banner, prayer, and word of encouragement helped carry this team forward. Whether you were in the stands or cheering from miles away, you were part of this journey!
From District play → Nevada → the Mountain Region → Williamsport → the USA Championship Game, this has been a journey we will never forget.

As we start our Monday, please reach out to our members and friends in the Reno area and keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Lodging update 8/23 8:24p:

For those displaced by the fire who still need a place to stay, some local resort properties have reported rooms becoming available today. Availability can change quickly, so please contact hotels and resorts directly for current availability.

The evacuation center at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center is also adding additional beds for those who need shelter.

• Southbound US 395 traffic at Bordertown is being turned around before reaching White Lake.
