I enjoyed spending time with Reno residents alongside Rahm Emanuel and Kate Marshall to talk about the future of Northern Nevada, good jobs, stronger communities, economic opportunity, and making sure growth actually improves people's lives.

Northern Nevada is growing, and the people who call it home should have a meaningful voice in where that growth takes us.

Addiction touches families and communities across Nevada, and recovery requires more than words, it requires resources, treatment, and people willing to help.

I had the opportunity to tour Step One in Reno and speak with its Executive Director about the rehabilitation services they provide to people struggling with addiction. Facilities doing this work aren't just treating addiction. They're helping people rebuild their lives, reconnect with their families, and find a path forward.

May we always remember the unity, courage, and compassion that brought our nation together.

On Labor Day, we honor the generations of workers who fought for the protections and opportunities we have today, and we keep fighting to make sure the next generation has even more.
