A busy evening of community connection across the valley! 💙

The city of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety was happy to support the Henderson Police Department’s Inspirada Substation Open House tonight, connecting with residents and representing DPS alongside our neighboring law enforcement partners. 🚔🤝

Meanwhile, our DPS Animal Protection Services officers were honored to support the Desert Shores National Night Out! 🐾

It was a great evening spent engaging with residents, sharing resources and strengthening the relationships that help keep our communities safe.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to get out into the community and connect with those we serve!

DPS was proud to stand alongside our law enforcement partners at the LVMPD Wellness Bureau’s annual Su***de Awareness Walk at Lone Mountain Park. 💙

Supporting the wellness of our first responders means showing up for one another, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and reminding our public safety family that no one has to struggle alone.

Tonight, 34 students got an inside look at the many moving parts that keep DPS going! 🚔💙

Our DPS Citizens Police Academy Class 2026-02 participants met K9 Scarlett, learned about the importance of officer wellness and went behind the scenes with DPS Communications to see the critical role our dispatchers play in keeping our officers and community safe.

Another great night of learning, connecting and seeing what happens behind the badge! 👮‍♀️📞🐕‍🦺
