The Diaper Bank movement began in 1994 in Tucson, AZ when a small consulting firm wanted to give back to their local community during the holiday season. They began the philantrophic endeavor by collecting and donating diapers for families in crisis. In 2003, located in Southern Arizona, the nation’s first free standing Charitable Diaper Bank opened its doors. Just one year later in 2004, using th

e model of Southern Arizona, New Haven Diaper Bank was organized and began operating in New Haven, Connecticut. Today, there are more than 250 Diaper Banks across the country. We are Clark County’s very own premier Diaper Bank —“Las Vegas Diaper Bank”

The Las Vegas Diaper Bank is a service provided by Las Vegas Family Relief, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We focus on providing bridges of relief to families in need, living in Southern Nevada.

HOW YOU CAN HELP It’s Simple — Donate DIAPERS • DOLLARS • TIME Host a Diaper Drive At your place of work, neighborhood, faith based organization, school, club, networking event, or civic-minded group. Dollars for Diapers Monetary donations are important , because they allow us the ability to purchase diapers in larger quantities that are necessary to receive wholesale pricing, and ensure we are able to provide the sizes most in demand. Donations can be made online, by mail or in person. Donations are tax deductable within IRS guidelines. Volunteer Your Time ------------- Helping hands are always welcomed! It takes a team of volunteers to make it happen. Anything from drivers for diaper collection to helpers on “distribution day”. Your talents, experience and time are valuable to us and are very much appreciated. Visit our Website for a detailed list of volunteer opportunities.
