We'd like to officially invite you to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for VARA DJs this Thursday, June 11th at 6:30 PM as they celebrate the opening of their newly rebranded headquarters in Halfmoon!

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for an Open House from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new space, meet the VARA team, and see where the creativity, chaos, and wedding weekends come to life. As Wyatt Roberts of VARA shared, this is a chance to connect with the team, talk weddings, music, entertainment, and everything in between. Light refreshments will be provided.

We are excited to celebrate this milestone and look forward to welcoming them and celebrating their continued growth in the Capital Region!

Bison Brew is now official! We were excited to celebrate with students, staff, and community members during a ribbon cutting ceremony at Shaker Middle School this past Friday, May 29th.

The Bison Brew started as a "coffee cart" run by a group of our special education students with the help of several faculty members and has turned into so much more. They are now delivering coffee, tea, lemonade, etc. all over the building. Students are pouring drinks, handling money, making snacks, and producing videos which can be seen on their Instagram.

It has been a great venture for the students and one they hope to continue to expand upon. This ribbon cutting was just another step forward in that expansion.

Thank you again to our members, community partners, and everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting milestone and welcome the Bison Brew team at Shaker!

We are excited to officially invite the community to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Capitaland Animal Hospital this Saturday, May 30th at 11AM as they celebrate the grand opening of their newly renovated clinic in Latham!

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for an Open House until 3PM featuring family-friendly activities including face painting, carnival games, cat adoptions through APF, raffle giveaways, a bounce house & more.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated facility and meet the Capitaland Animal Hospital team. We are excited to celebrate this milestone and welcome them to the community as they continue serving pets and families throughout the Capital Region!

As we prepare for the 2026 Emerging Leaders Summit on June 4th, presented by Hudson Valley Credit Union, we are pleased to share an important update. We are officially announcing our panel on “Navigating Change: Resilience and Adaptability in Uncertain Times.”

This session dives into real-world strategies for building resilience, staying adaptable, and guiding teams through constant change. The panel will feature Erin Vickers of Unity House, Christopher Walrath of Walrath Recruiting, Inc., and Keila dos Santos of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. We would like to invite you to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Albany Rural Cemetery next Wednesday, May 6th at 11AM.

Albany Rural Cemetery is proud to announce the completion of its new state-of-the-art crematorium, a major milestone for both the Cemetery and the Capital Region. The ribbon cutting celebrates a years-long project that advances its mission and prepares for the future.

The project gained momentum following updated emissions requirements from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, with key support from project partners and consultants.
