What a bash we had celebrating back to school!!!

Bringing together a community to show military kids they are not alone! This was more than just free school supplies, but a chance to show military kids we see you, we hear you and we will be there for you!

Good Luck this School Year!! Ben and I are rooting for you!

Earlier this week, Ben and I headed back west for our Passport STEAM Day Camp!!

Learning about a variety of countries around the world, building resilience with other military youth to meet, talk and have fun with those who understand the challenges each is facing.

There were laughs, long flights, crocodiles, and some haphazard boomerangs. We just can’t wait to catch the next flight for our up coming events!!!

If our volunteers can do it I can do it!! Our Teen Council met back in July for a 3 day Teen Council Retreat to Buffalo, NY.

They took time to build upon networking and skill development. From community service gardening at the Batavia Veterans Home to learning MRT Skill Assertive Communication, to leadership skills guiding and effectively communicating their group across a high ropes course they tackled a lot.

Teen Council; more then just building their community, but being a voice for military kids to incorporate peer education, events, and life skills into all National Guard Activities.

Outdoor adventure day camp
day 2 part 2

Community, Resilience, and Fossils.

We spent our day at Thacher State Park, learning about more about Leave No Chase principles, fossils, waterfalls, caves, and wildfires.

Unfortunately due to unsafe air quality our day was cut short and our third day was cancelled.
