Child Care is the number one most asked about resource! Families do not sleep on this resource!

They have Subsidies for DAYCARE, BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, and SUMMER CAMPS!!!

Child Care Aware helps military families locate NYS licensed and certified care in your area.

They will help military families through a fee assistance program and could cover child care costs through subsidy amounts. Please I urge you if you have not go check them out!!

A great Parenting Resource is Big Brothers and Big Sisters!!

“Operation Bigs focuses on providing mentors for children in military families. Mentoring isn’t parenting. Bugs can’t fill those shoes, and definitely not those boots. Bigs are just here as a little extra support. Bigs who mentor children from military families come from various backgrounds and can be military (active or retired) or civilian volunteers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters carefully matches Bigs and Littles for long term, one to one friendships. We also provide support for the mentors, children’s, families throughout the life of Match.”
