We’re proud and excited to be working with Feld Fire on these three beautiful custom-built wildland units!
We chose Feld Fire for multiple reasons, but their history, customer service reputation, and the relationship we’ve built with them over the years were a big part of it. . One other factor that has unintentionally become vitally important to us is knowing that the people we’re buying from are being HONEST with us about what we are purchasing, rather than just telling us what we need to hear to make a sale.
We appreciate Feld Fire and their whole crew for continuing to take care of us and our district's citizens. We’re looking forward to seeing these three trucks come together and getting them out there doing what they were built to do!

To most citizens spectating, the fireground appears to be a circus that is chaotic & disorganized, but the truth is, yes, they are chaotic, but the good Incident Commanders can organize that chaos, remain calm, and get the job done all while ensuring we all go home safely!
Great job Plattsburg Fire Protection District!!!! We are always honored to help every time our neighbors ask for assistance!
Strong department relationships are built by setting egos aside, constant collaborative training, and building trust & respect for each other. This is so important when relying on our neighbors when in times of need!!! We will never be successful without the help of our neighboring departments!!!

Another 4th of July is in the books, and we're happy to say it was another safe and successful fireworks show at the Antique Showgrounds!
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate America's 250th birthday with us and helped make it such a great evening. We truly appreciate the support you continue to show the Lathrop Fire Protection District. It's an honor to serve such an incredible community.
A big thank you also goes out to all of the donors, volunteers and first responders who helped make the event possible with their hard work and generosity!!!

We had a blast today with a 1st grade class at Lathrop Elementary!
The kids invited us over for a water balloon war, and let's just say these little ones were prepared for battle. After a lot of laughs and a lot of water balloons, we decided to finish our victory off by breaking out the deck gun and making sure no one went home dry!
We want to thank the students for letting us join in on the fun and helping us kick off summer break the right way. We'd also like to thank the teachers for the invitation and for putting together such a great event.
We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer!

Interstate 35 is now fully OPEN in both the northbound and southbound lanes following the semi-truck fire that shut down the highway beginning around 1:30 PM today.
We appreciate everyone’s patience while emergency responders and highway crews worked to safely extinguish the fire, clear the scene, and reopen the roadway. This incident was handled through strong multi-agency coordination, including assistance from our surrounding fire departments through established mutual aid agreements.
We would also like to thank MODOT and Clinton County Missouri Sheriff's Office for their assistance in safely keeping the interstate shut down during the incident, which helped ensure responder and public safety while operations were underway.
Please continue to use caution in the area as traffic returns to normal.
Thank you to all agencies involved for their hard work and cooperation throughout this incident.

It was an honor to represent our fire department today at the Memorial Day ceremony. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
