Today, the Duty Crews staffing the Lloydsville Volunteer Fire Department hosted a Last Day of School Picnic for our Junior Firefighters. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the end of another successful school year, enjoy some food and fun, and recognize the hard work and dedication these young men and women bring to our department.

We would also like to extend our congratulations to the Latrobe High School Class of 2026 on reaching this important milestone. We wish all graduates the very best as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

To all students, teachers, and school staff, thank you for a great year. Have a happy, safe, and healthy summer vacation. We look forward to seeing everyone back in the fall!

Today, the members of the Lloydsville Fire Department pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave everything to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We ask our community to join us in honoring our fallen heroes and keeping their families in your thoughts today.
