At Barnes Place, our Personal Care community, residents are at the center of our small, homelike community. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.

Memorial Day 2026 was Standing-Room Only at Barnes Place. This Memorial Day, we paused to honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country with courage and sacrifice. We especially remember the military veterans and spouses, of our community, who are no longer with us. Leslie Rossi, PA State Representative; Eric Lunberg, Janet and Earl Penrose and Randy King with American Legion Post 515; Excela Hospice and our Barnes Place Choir helped us honor our military service members with music, prayer and roll call.

Our Memorial Day Roll Call ceremony, presented by Eric Lunberg, American Legion Post 515, was filled with honor, remembrance, and gratitude as we recognized those who served in the military and are no longer with us. Each name spoken represented a life of sacrifice that continues to inspire our community this Memorial Day. The sound of Taps played, as we paused in reflection for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the courageous service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their strength, bravery, and selflessness helped protect the freedoms we cherish each day, and their legacy will never be forgotten. As we reflect in gratitude, we also pay tribute to the enduring strength of families who continue to honor the memories of their loved ones.
