Early Detection Starts With You!

The MammoLink mobile mammography unit is coming to the City of Lauderdale Lakes on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, in conjunction with the Free Breast Cancer Awareness & Community Health Fair, presented by Commissioner Karlene Maxwell-Williams.

Women ages 35 and older are invited to schedule a convenient 10-minute mammogram appointment, with same-day results and no prescription required.

Serve Your City. Help Shape Lauderdale Lakes’ Future.

The City of Lauderdale Lakes is seeking engaged residents and local business representatives to serve on the Economic Development Advisory Board.

The board advises the City Commission on strategies, programs, projects and regulations that support economic development and revitalization. Members also review development and redevelopment proposals, land transactions and business initiatives that can expand opportunities and strengthen the City’s economic health.

Current Openings:

1 Regular Member — Must be a City of Lauderdale Lakes resident.
2 At-Large Business Members — Each member must represent a suitable business with its primary operation within the City of Lauderdale Lakes.

The board meets on the second Monday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
