Today, Local 4321 proudly recognizes and thanks Chief Bill Fucci, Chief Harris Henbest, Lieutenant Steve Hamlin, Lieutenant Marc Ouellette, Driver Engineer Jimmy Dobson, and Captain Kevin Myers as they deploy with Florida Task Force 2 (FLTF-2) to Venezuela following the devastating earthquake.
These men represent the very best of our profession. Their willingness to leave their homes, families, and daily lives to answer the call for people they’ve never met is a testament to the courage, professionalism, and selfless service that defines Urban Search and Rescue.
We also want to recognize and thank their families. Your sacrifices often go unseen, but your strength and support make these missions possible. While your loved ones serve others in a time of unimaginable need, you serve alongside them from home.
On behalf of the members of IAFF Local 4321, we wish our FLTF-2 team a safe deployment and a safe return home. Thank you for representing Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, our Local, and the fire service with honor.
