Recently, The City of and the Task Force welcomed guest speaker Michael Baisden Live at the 17th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration during Month on Feb. 4th. Being the 17th celebrity guest speaker, Mr. Baisden gave an informative and encouraging speech to the event’s attendees. In addition, during his speech, he revealed his efforts on community outreach and also gave away, while signing, 2 of his own self-published books. This event was a highlight for the City of Lauderhill as it impressed upon and improvement, which also concerned our youth. Mr. Baisden and certain individuals were able to shed light on current issues that could be resolved based on community involvement and unity. Thank you Michael Baisden for your words and we wish you much success on your community contributions.
