This weather might have you stuck in the house, so here’s something you can prepare for now! 👕🧥

Our CMIT NES Uniform Donation Drive is coming soon, and we would love your support helping other Tiger families get ready for the new school year. 🐾🧡💙

📌 Ground Rules:
1️⃣ Clothing can ONLY be dropped off June 1st–18th, 2026
2️⃣ All items MUST be laundered
3️⃣ “Gently used” means NO stains, tears, or rips
4️⃣ NO old logo items — please dispose of those as you see fit (elementary logo only)

✅ We are accepting NEW logo:
• Oxfords
• Hoodies
• Polos
• Jackets
• Khaki pants/shorts/skorts
• Navy blue pants/shorts/skorts

All donations will be sorted and prepared for our upcoming uniform sale to help support families before the school year begins. Thank you for supporting our Tiger community! 🐯

Good afternoon, Tiger Den! 🧡🐾💙

We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Vice President Dafnette Jones for her hard work, guidance, patience, and love throughout her tenure on the PTO Executive Board. Your dedication and support have helped make a lasting impact on our scholars, families, teachers, and school community. We are truly grateful for all you have done! 💐

Please join us in congratulating our newly elected PTO Vice President, Mrs. Tiffany Hanson! 🎉 We are excited to welcome her into this leadership role and look forward to the ideas, passion, and support she will bring to the Tiger Den community.

We are also blessed to announce that Treasurer Mrs. Dominique Barnes and Corresponding Secretary Paula Rojas were re-elected to continue serving in their positions. Thank you both for your continued dedication and commitment to our PTO mission and school community! 🧡

The term for our newly elected PTO Executive Board officials will run from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.

🧪🔬 We had a BLAST at Science Night! 🚀✨

The Maryland Science Center did not disappoint with their amazing hands-on stations and activities! Our Den showed up ready to explore, learn, and have FUN! 🧡🐯

🎉 We had 135 attendees join us for the evening!
👏 Congratulations to Mr. Fletcher’s and Mr. Trippes’ classes for tying with the most scholars in attendance!

🎟️ And a HUGE congratulations to our 6 lucky scholars who completed their passports and won 2 tickets each to the Maryland Science Center! 🥳

Thank you so much for the volunteers and community businesses that made Teachers Appreciation Week 2026 a huge success.

Our teachers and staff were showered with gifts, massaged and well fed through out the week.

The influence of a good teacher can never be erased and we hope the appreciation from last week leaves a lasting impression.

This Tiger Den showed up and showed out.
