Our Founders knew the solution, “We The People”. People all over the Country are banding together to take back our Republic, so join us and let’s bring a positive change to America. We are a grassroots conservative

organization in Jones County based upon 9 Principles and 12 Values. The Principles and Values can be found on the message board at our Meetup.com site. The address is www.meetup.com/wesurroundthemjonescounty. If we can agree on 75% of the Principles and Values, we can return our government back within the U.S. Constitution and Country back to the Founding Principles. The Principles and Values can also be found in the Notes section of this page. Communication is essential. Feel free to post your thoughts, ideas, insights, appropriate quotes, news items, etc., on the wall. Also, visit the website. The address is listed in the above paragraph. Jones County Conservative Coalition

Monthly Meeting - June 12, 2017

Monday, June 12, 2017
6:30 PM
Where:

Buffet City (Old Ryan’s Building)
2132 Highway 15 N, Laurel, MS
Although this is an off political year, except for city elections, there are many reasons to stay involved. Next year is a mid term federal election, which means MS will have Congressional races and a U.S. Senate race with Roger Wicker, a non-conservative Republican, as the incumbent. As many have heard, Chris McDaniel is considering that election as well as a possible run for Lt. Governor. Also, Congressman Palazzo has an already declared opponent, Brian Rose, and other un-declared possibilities. Keep in mind, next year's election candidates are basically decided this year. There are some questions that should be discussed. Come early to eat and then enjoy conservative fellowship and prognostications.

I am hearing reports that the Trump and Ryan showdown is about who controls the GOP and what it represents. I am distrustful of both.

There are the doomsayers out there talking about the sad state of affairs America is in and the destruction of America. I am a half full glass type of American guy. It took only a third of the colonial population to change the course of history and I honestly believe their is a third of our population today that carries the same belief about Liberty. God Bless America!

"Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." George Washington

We hope you'll join us tomorrow evening for our April monthly meeting. We'll get together at 5:30 to eat and hang out, and the meeting will begin at 6:30. All other details can be found at this link.

We exist to advance conservative principles in Jones County, Mississippi, and the greater United States of America.

For those who were planning to attend, Ted Cruz is very sick and won't be able to attend the event that was scheduled to take place at Jones County Junior College tomorrow. Please be in prayer that he will recover quickly and be able to get back on the campaign trail soon.

Let's drive liberals crazy today and share the following George Washington quote.

"Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."

Well, the Republicans give us more of the same, a weak spine and risk averse actions regarding the new budget deal. Once again the Republicans push a budget fight beyond the next presidential election; that's more than a year away. Spineless! Kicking the can down the road is not a winning philosophy. Sick of it!
