ATTENTION PARENTS / GUARDIANS:

We are in desperate need for volunteers for our Athletic events to help keep score, run clocks, and the football chain gain for sporting events.

If your student plays in any sporting events, please take a minute to let your coach know that you are willing to volunteer to help the games continue.

If you do not have a student playing yet, but your heart beats athletics, please let our Athletic Director, Aleesa Olsen know that you are willing to volunteer. You can call the Laurel Middle School and leave a message.

It is crucial we get these areas covered or the games can not take place.

Parent, Guardian, and Students

Just a reminder that our District-Wide assessment window for FastBridge testing is September 8th through September 11th. Please take a minute to review on how to prepare your student for the assessment:

- Ensure your student is in attendance on the days of testing
- Have your student get to bed early so they are well rested and ready to go
- Having a good breakfast and a hearty lunch helps with focus
-Encourage your student to do their very best.

Thank you for partnering together to support your student's learning and educational testing.

Parent Student Drop off Reminder......

In the morning all students dropped off may do one of two things..
1. Enter the front of the building to eat breakfast starting at 7:45 a.m. or.......
2. Report to their appropriate wing doors until the bell rings at 8:05 am.

Students pickup reminder.....

All students that are not transportation will leave their wing doors and walk to their guardian/parent.

All students that are transportation will report the transportation hall for bus pickup.

Parents please watch carefully for students walking and using the crosswalk areas.

Lets have a safe start to school.

Build Montana Pop-up Day is open to all 6th - 12th graders and includes 2 hours of hands-on construction industry experiences with local Montana contractors. This event will take place on September 24th, behind the Billings Career Center between 9:00 and noon. EMAIL: [email protected] TO SIGN UP!

6th Grade Orientation is on Wednesday, August 19th. Students will be dropped off from 8:15-8:30 in the commons. The orientation is from 8:30-12:00 and it will only be for students. Parents can use the main door to bring their students into the commons. The students will go into the gym and parents will leave.

They will be participating in games, team building, locker operation and organization, school exploration, schedule walkthrough and middle school expectations. Snacks will be provided during the morning session.

Students are encouraged to bring all of their school supplies for their lockers. The students will get their schedules and lockers during this time.
