The Association of Excellence in Education (AEE) is a community based 501(c) (3) non-profit educational organization designed to serve students and educators in Laurel and Jones County. The AEE’s mission is to help build bridges in public education by providing opportunities for businesses to get involved and support the future of our community – our children. The AEE’s primary role is to serve as

an advocate for public schools and as a catalyst for positive change in education. The organization encourages interaction between educators, businesses and the community, identifying long term education needs and building a consensus to meet those needs. AEE currently supports successful programs such as Mississippi Scholars, Future Leaders of Jones County and ACT Prep. When it comes to helping our children and community achieve EXCELLENCE, there are no limitations. With your help and involvement, the AEE plans to search aggressively for new endeavors to support.
