Pathwise staff members attended the South Carolina Rural Transit Day Conference yesterday in Sumter, SC! 🚌

They learned how transportation strengthens rural communities and connects people to greater opportunities. Attendees also heard from guest speaker Representative Jermaine Johnson and enjoyed a tour of Continental Tires to see firsthand how tires are made! 🛞

At Pathwise, we celebrate all forms of communication! Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) helps people express their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings through tools such as communication boards, picture cards, speech-generating devices, and more.

Everyone deserves a voice and the opportunity to be heard. This month, we’re raising awareness about AAC and celebrating the many ways people communicate every day! 💙
