We are proud to team up with Keep Laurens County Beautiful and American Legion Post 25 Laurens, SC on February 21st for the annual Wattsville area cleanup.

Save the date and make plans to join us next month! This is an excellent opportunity for students to earn community service hours and be part of a great effort to clean up our roadways.

Update from the Laurens County Emergency Preparedness.

Emergency Shelter:

An emergency 24 hour overnight shelter will be open tomorrow morning ( Saturday Jan 24th) at 8:00 AM for anyone who needs a place to go during the ice storm this weekend.

Cots will be provided for people to sleep on.

This shelter will be for long term stay.

Address:

The Laurens County Ag Building, 137 Fairgrounds Rd. Laurens SC.

Also: Warming Centers:

Both the Clinton and Laurens City Police Departments will be opening their front lobbies as a warming center.

No cots will be provided for people to sleep on.

These centers are just open for people to get out of the cold for shorter periods of time.

Clinton PD: 404 N. Board St.

Laurens PD: 250 W. Laurens St.
