Even if it feels like summer just started, we’re overwhelmed with all the support you’ve given the pool this summer!

Thank you to all our swim families for choosing the pool for your summer activities! From early morning aerobics, swim team practice & meets, lessons, and open swim the pool was a busy place!

Thank you to the guards for all their hard work this summer! They are the heart of the pool and we wouldn’t be open without them.

Thank you to the crew from the City for all support and help as we navigate all the new learning that still comes with a new pool.

As they head off for school, here’s where they’ll all be:

Brynn, Kable, McKenna, and Sawyer will be sophomores at Pocahontas.
Peyton will be a junior at Sioux Central.
Marcus will be a senior at Sioux Central.
Levi will be a senior at Pocahontas.
Ryleigh will be a sophomore at Nebraska Wesleyan where she’s majoring in Exercise Science.
Landen will be a sophomore at the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Social Work and Family Services.

We wish them lots of luck (and some friendly competition in high school sports) in the next school year, and we hope they all make the pool part of their summer next year.

Thank you to our small, but mighty group that joined us this morning for aerobics! See you all next summer!

I didn’t take any photos last night, but thank you to everyone who braved the cooler temps and misty air for night swim! We didn’t make it to midnight, but we sure had fun!

Hey swim friends!

We’re going to try and open up for night swim! The rain should stop, but the temps will be a little cooler.

We’ll open at 8:00 and see how the night goes.

We’ll have glow bracelets for sale for $1.

Please like this post if you’re planning on coming. We’ll evaluate attendance on the hour and determine if we stay open until midnight.

Next Friday August 14

Hours will be 1-5:30 and then we’ll open back up at 8:00 until Midnight.

With the rain and cool temperatures we will not open at 1:00.

We will watch for changes in the forecast and make a decision about night swim later this afternoon.

It’s that time again!

With three football players, two cross country runners, one volleyball player, a cheerleader, and two college sophomores, it will be impossible to staff the pool after August 16.

We are open regular hours (weather permitting) Monday - Thursday & Saturday. Friday is Night Swim! We’ll be open until midnight. Sunday we will close for the season at 5:00.

Wednesday, August 5

The temperatures are predicted to drop between 8 and 9. We will close at 8 before the sun sets and the temperatures drop.

Hopefully tomorrow is warmer!
