The heat and rains have left. We are looking at a beautiful evening tonight for the annual LBP 5k run fundraiser. Come enjoy a run along Lavallette's bayfront and stick around after the race for amazing sunsets like this. Registration is at 5:30 and the race begins at 6:15 at the gazebo on Bay Blvd.

Yellow flags are up this morning due to NE wind swell and strong Longshore currents.

Major beach replenishment operations have finished and preparations for the 2019 LBP season have begun.

Reminder that this weekend we will be holding our second tryout of the season. Tryouts will be this Sunday May 26th, 10am at Reese Avenue Bay Beach.

Today is the day! Interested in the best job on earth?

Our first tryout of the season will be held today 1pm at the Ocean County YMCA.

A second tryout will be held on May 26th at Reese Avenue Bay beach in Lavallette.

We are expecting a great year with our newly replenished beach and an improved pay scale. Come be a part of a historic year for the Lavallette Beach Patrol.

Warm wishes despite cold temperatures from the LBP. The beach looks very different than when we last posted.

Beach replenishment work has reached our HQ at Philadelphia ave. Work on access ramps continues at Trenton Ave. All work continues to progress well and should be completed well before the 2019 season.
