🎉 What an incredible month for our 4th and 5th graders! They've hit our 92% attendance goal for September and earned themselves a special window sign and a tasty treat to celebrate. Way to show up and show out! 📚✨ Now the question is: which grade levels will join them in reaching 92% for October? Here's the thing — every single school day truly counts, and we'd love to see more classrooms crossing that finish line. Keep up the fantastic momentum! 🌟

🌟 **Building Partnerships. Creating Opportunities. Supporting Students!** 🌟

Today, GCCS was excited to welcome **Karen Johnson**, President & CEO of **New Pathways for Youth**, as part of the **Partner with a Principal Program!** 🦅💛

This program creates opportunities for schools and community businesses to connect, collaborate, and build meaningful partnerships that benefit students.

We are excited about this new partnership and look forward to the opportunities it will create for our GCCS students! Together, we can continue to build connections and open doors for our students to **SOAR!** 🦅✨

Roll into something awesome! 🛹 We're launching Skate After School, a brand-new skateboarding club where students learn tricks, build confidence, and discover character lessons—all while having a blast on wheels. Sessions happen every Friday from 3:15-4:15pm, and spots are limited to the first 20 riders. 🎯

No experience needed! 🌟 We've got you covered with helmets, wrist guards, skateboards, and all the gear to keep everyone safe and ready to roll. Permission slips are waiting in the front office, so grab one and let your student join the fun. Want to learn more? Head to https://skateafterschool.org/ 🚀

This is an incredible chance for 2nd-5th graders to try something new, build skills, and be part of a supportive community. We can't wait to see who's ready to ride! 🤘

Skate After School empowers Phoenix youth through skateboarding. Our after-school programs foster community and teach kids valuable life skills.
