For those wondering...

The Lavon City Council and Lavon Parks and Recreation Board have been working with a professional design firm to turn the community’s vision into an amazing park design!

The process began with Community Vision meetings and resident Surveys. Your input helped identify the types of amenities, activities, and features residents would like to see in our parks.

With that information in hand, the design team has been working through the concept plan and schematic master plan to begin bringing that vision to life.

We know many of you are excited to see what’s next — and we are too!

Keep an eye out for upcoming Parks and Recreation Board meetings and updates as the park design process continues.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their ideas and helped shape the future of Lavon’s parks!

Members of the Lavon City Council and Lavon Police Department were honored to deliver school supplies donated by Lavon residents and Walmart to four of the Community ISD campuses. We hope you have a great school year.
