Folks coming to the Association of African American Museums in Philadelphia are in for an eye-opening treat with this outing to the Dr. James Still Historic Office Site & Education Center in Medford NJ. Attendees can join in a session at 10:30 a.m. Thursday on "Rising Above House Museum Challenges" in Commonwealth D at Loews Hotel. Learn more with Sam Still, Gwen Ragsdale of the Lest We Forget Museum of Slavery, Jacqueline Wiggins of Wiggins Tours N More, LLC and Linda Shockley of the Peter Mott House.

Lawnside Resident, donated to the LHS, award winning news reporter, cricket player and advocate for local clubs.

He won a 1980 Keystone Award for a news series on city taxi service and was recognized for another series on street gang homicides involving Black youth.

We love when people come to learn the history of Lawnside. The attendees of our Gallery Talk on Aug 2nd were very engaging. If you want a tour of the Lawnside exhibit with the curator, the next Gallery Talk is Oct 2nd. The next presentation will be Sunday September 6th on South Jersey Underground Railroad.
