The YWCA NEMA is pleased to invite you to our Annual Break the Silence Walk on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Lawrence Public Library.

This annual event brings our community together to stand in solidarity with survivors, raise awareness, and show our collective commitment to fostering safe, healthy, and supportive relationships.

This year, we are honored to have special guests, youth from ALAS join us to share important perspectives on healthy and unhealthy relationships.

We look forward to your support and participation as we come together to break the silence and stand with survivors. Please spread the word within your networks to help us increase community participation. We can't do this work alone!

PLEASE ADVISE!!!! Due to the weather forecast calling for all rain and wind this upcoming Friday, we have decided to postpone the Trunk & Treat event to next Friday, October 23rd!
The YWCA, the Y, and GLCAC are excited to bring you the same fun, games, candy, music, food, and haunted monster block party next Friday night, October 23rd, from 6-10 PM! We can't wait to see your costumes this year either!!
