The Officers and Members of Lawrence Road Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Life Member and Past Chief Ted Clemen. Funeral arrangements will follow when completed. Please keep the members of Station 202 and Chief Clemen’s family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time.

Lawrence Township Volunteer Firefighters were busy training again in this beautiful weather. This time members practiced evolutions in Swift Water Operations. The Fire Service needs to be prepared for anything including floods that can happen anywhere at anytime. Members honed their skills in rescuing victims from flash floods. This involved setting up ropes systems and utilizing specialized gear/equipment. As always, great job by all!

Tonight the volunteer members of Lawrence Township Fire Department will be conducting training near the wood line of Captain Paul’s fire. There is no emergency just training.

Your Lawrence Township Volunteer Firefighters and Lawrence Township Paid Firefighting Staff were busy training today on water shuttle operations. Members practiced setting up portable ponds, drafting operations, and methods of obtaining a steady water supply in rural areas where hydrants may not be available. Special thanks to the instructors and to all the mutual aid companies who attended to make this joint company drill possible. It's always a great day to train!
