Sesquicentennial Point

Sesquicentennial Point Sesquicentennial Point is the 97 acre park just east of Clinton Dam on the road to Mutt Run Off Leash

Let's complete the Walk through Time with sponsorship of all 151 stones, and eventually provide an open-air theater setting for educational programs, and special events. This is a project of the Lawrence Sesquicentennial Commission. Make a tax free contribution to Sesquicentennial Point through the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department Fund at the Douglas County Community Foundation. dccfoundation.org/fund/Lawrence-Parks-and-Recreation-Department-Fund

Poor Man's Cookies contain no eggs, milk or nuts. Despite the name, the cookies are rich in taste!

The Point is beautiful this time of year.

Make a resolution to take the Walk through Time at Sesquicentennial Point and think about who should be recognized. Individual citizens, families, historic events, dedicated groups and organizations in Lawrence history are engraved on the stones. It is time to add 20 more stones for 2004 through 2024!
