We appreciate the Douglas County Fair - Kansas Board so much!
Looking forward to working together for a fantastic 2026 fair!
A huge TIA 😀

These dedicated volunteer board members spend countless hours behind the scenes working to bring the BEST fair in town to our community. From setting up livestock pens and placing ribbons to repairing derby blocks, hanging banners, coordinating events, and supporting those local food vendors! All this hard work helps make the fair a success year after year.

Let's give a huge round of applause and heartfelt thanks to these 10 special individuals who make the Douglas County Fair possible. We are grateful for their time, energy, and dedication to keeping our fair tradition strong!

We at K-State Extension - Douglas County and Douglas County 4-H will always remember Charlie Garzillo for his unwavering dedication and support to our programs along with an easygoing friendship.
Charlie served as a volunteer over the years in many roles for the community club, county and state programs. They are too numerous to list all without missing something! but suffice to say he stayed busy- amongst these are Fair Board, 4-H Foundation Board, Poultry Barn Superintendent, project leadership and so much more.
He never said no to a job, and he did the work with a smile. He was greatly admired by all.
We send our love and support to his family and friends.
