“Gardening Around Groundhogs” is our student driven Youthworks project. Thank you MassHire Merrimack Valley Career Center for supporting the Youthworks experience at LHS this summer! Our post Graduate LHS Youth Works students created a gardening project to grow plants the resident groundhog won’t eat. Herbs! Chives, Rosemary, lavender, thyme, sage, hot pepper, lemon balm. Many hands make light work! Students decided a fence may keep groundhogs off the corn 🌽. Great teamwork and communication! . "Jardinería alrededor de marmotas" es nuestro proyecto de Youthworks impulsado por estudiantes. ¡Gracias por apoyar la experiencia de Youthworks en LHS este verano! Nuestros estudiantes de posgrado de LHS Youth Works crearon un proyecto de jardinería para cultivar plantas que la marmota residente no comerá. ¡Hierbas! Cebollino, romero, lavanda, tomillo, salvia, pimiento picante, melisa. ¡Muchas manos hacen trabajo liviano! Los estudiantes decidieron que una valla puede mantener a las marmotas alejadas del maíz 🌽. Gran trabajo en equipo y comunicación!
