It's gala time again!

Join us June 11 for our annual gala, with this year's theme "A Night in the Caribbean." It will be an evening of vibrant celebration with a powerful purpose: to feed our neighbors in Douglas County.

Funds raised at the gala support programs and partnerships that provide groceries and essential items to thousands of households each year.

Consider this your friendly nudge. The Just Food Merch Design Contest deadline is coming up Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. and we’re looking for your best ideas for a t-shirt, hat, or sticker.

Whether you’ve been sketching for weeks or you’re about to have a burst of last-minute creative genius (we respect the hustle), there’s still time to submit.

Congratulations to Brindy Fitzpatrick on being recognized for Just Food’s esteemed Volunteer Spotlight series!

Brindy has been a stand-out volunteer from day one. She brings an upbeat vibe to each volunteer shift and does an outstanding job helping sort & stock donated food items in our warehouse every week. Brindy is also a talented artist who kindly donated a Just-Food-themed mural on our pantry walls this past March - we are ecstatic about this new addition to our pantry and the staff & shoppers alike rave about it daily!

We could not be more thankful to Brindy, and all the volunteers, for everything you do for Just Food. We are so grateful for your help and hope to continue to be inspired by your dedication throughout the year. Thank you so much!!!

Just Food is launching a Merch Design Contest, and we want to see your creativity! Submit your original design for a chance to have it featured on official Just Food merchandise. It’s a fun way to support our mission while showcasing your art.

We’re looking for designs that celebrate community, food access, and the fight to end hunger in Douglas County. Your artwork could help spread the word about the work Just Food does to ensure our neighbors have access to healthy food and the resources they need.
