Gearcats Robotics Tryouts
We’re excited to announce tryouts for the Fall Creek Valley Gearcats Robotics Team! Our Gearcats have a longstanding tradition of excellence, and we’re looking for the next group of students to continue that tradition. We are looking for builders, problem solvers, coders, robot drivers, writers, and students overall passionate about robotics.
7th/8th Grade Tryouts – Wednesday, September 2nd (9/2)
Time: 3:50 PM – 5:00 PM. Pick up in the back lot (east-bus entrance) at Door #8/9
Location: Room 400
What to expect:
Tryouts will include hands-on building activities as well as a few short-answer questions.
Students will be notified by Friday, September 4, at the end of the school day if they have been selected for the team.
Team practices: Wednesdays, 3:50–6:00 PM. Please note that the practice schedule may shift as we get further into the school year. Practices last through at least March.
Team fee: If your child is selected for the team, there is a $100 per student fee payable by cash or check to FCVMS.
