The weather looks to be great for a day on the water. The storms brought the water level up for a smooth float on this hot day! Or go by the many farm market stores or the Lawrenceburg Farm Market or The Farm Artisan Market both going on at 9am today! The Lonestar Rodeo is going on today and the Sundrop Festival is going on in Pulaski. All you can eat seafood buffet is tonight from 4-8pm at The Bridges in Wayne County. There is plenty to do and maybe even a few events I missed so share with us any events you know of going on today!

New business alert 🔔! Volunteer Welding Supply has opened a new store and supply facility in Ethridge where the old location for FedEx was. The post says Lawrenceburg but it’s at 3418 highway 43 Ethridge TN 38456. Share my post with those online so they get the correct ✅ address! I’ll include a map in the comments! The public pools are open and the tubes and kayaks are floating again! The Crockett Shoals Tubing Company, Double G Canoe Rentals, and Sycamore Taco Shack will be open to take you down the creek. Crockett Park has a few places to walk around in the water and their new paddle boats and boards to try out. Enjoy the summer in the water this weekend and be sure to see the pages of those I mentioned in this post. So how will you be spending the summer?

Saturday June 13th is The Farm Artisan Market from 9-2pm at The Farm in Summertown. Sunday June 14th from 12-4pm is the Juneteenth Celebration at the West Gaines Community Center. They will have fish, burgers and other items for sale to help them keep up the community center. Add these events to your weekend!

The 6th annual Henryville Fire Department Lonestar Rodeo is this weekend June 12-13th at Rotary Park. The Sundrop Festival is this Saturday June 13th in Pulaski and includes many activities - https://www.facebook.com/SundropFest. Sunday June 14th is the Juneteenth celebration at the West Gaines School Community Center where they will have fish plates, burgers, and bbq to eat for a fee that helps them upkeep the old school and community. All of these festivals are neat and worth going to.

Great News! Society has their grand opening at their Across The Creek Deli and Charcuterie location today! From 11-3pm you can go in and see the place many of us remember as the old Skips Soul Food location at 602 Old Florence Road just south of the square. I’ll leave a map in the comments section! If you see smoke downtown in Lawrenceburg then you're probably at the Rumble at the Crossroads Truck and Tractor pull. This event is Friday and Saturday. The Loretto Farmers Market is Friday at 4:30pm and the Lawrenceburg Farmers Market is Saturday at 9am. The creeks should be up and ready for tubes and kayaks to float. The Levitt AMP concerts are going really well and these concerts are free! They also shoot fireworks at the end if you want to get ready for July 4th! I will put a few flyers in the comments so have a great weekend!

I want you to hear this from me first. I may be selling this page, website, YouTube to others. A few weeks ago I had some emails wanting to buy my website but I didn't know them so I thought about it and offered it to others. I originally wanted to do a live show with my other interest but started focusing on my Amish related pages and this one that has brought me over 127,000 combined followers so far and over 52 million accounts reached according to my Facebook analytics. I feel like I am slipping away from my passions as a short success got me distracted from my goals. IF this deal goes through I will hand this page and resources over but if it does not then I will continue to be here. So has my page ever helped you? Tell me all about it!

A kid could get really tired from all the places you can see in the state below us! When kids are out of school most of us with enough funds say "mountains or beach" but for the rest of us a short round of day trips might be the travel you need. Below are a few places within Birmingham, Huntsville and Florence Alabama. By no means is this list conclusive as each place could get an even longer gallery of photos. Because most of us coming to my page are local, I figured I would show you a bit about places you may not have heard of. Since I have been in the travel and tourism industry for a long time I have been to many of the popular areas and took my wife and daughter to them. I can say a good night or two in a hotel is needed to do everything you would like, but a day trip to a few of them with a return drive will be ok. So do you recognize any of the places below?
