Anderson County High School would like to extend our sincere thanks to the many organizations and community partners who helped create such a meaningful experience for our juniors and seniors today. 🌟

Today, our students participated in Shattered Lives, an impactful program designed to shed light on the dangers and consequences of distracted and impaired driving. 🚗💔

Students began with an informational session that included student-led readings, highlighting the very real impact these choices have had in our own community. They then heard from Quinton Higgins, who shared his powerful personal experience connected to an event forever etched in history in Carrollton, Kentucky.

To bring the message even closer to reality, students witnessed a mock collision scene, where first responders and city service personnel demonstrated the response and aftermath of such situations. 🚑🚓

While the message is heavy, it is incredibly important—and we are grateful for everyone who helped make this experience possible for our Bearcats.

We have been made aware of yet another scam. Just a reminder, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office will NOT call and tell you that you have a warrant for your arrest or request payment of fines. Please be vigilant. These scammers are persistent!

It has come to our attention that another phone scam is going around. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office will not call you or ask for money if you miss jury duty. Please be vigilant when discussing these matters on the phone and guard your personal information.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office will be closed on Wednesday, February 11th from 12pm to 1pm. Deputies are available 24/7 as always.

On Sunday, February 15th at 3PM, will be our annual DARE Magic Show !!
Elementary students will receive tickets this week at their schools along with some VIP passes. Student tickets are free of charge along with the prized VIP passes. Tickets can be purchased early at Dinkmagic.com or purchased at the door with cash or check made out to Anderson County DARE. This Show is a fundraiser to support our DARE program and a great way to give back to our students for their efforts in Drug Abuse Resistance Education. Come one come all, this will be an amazing Show !!
