Hebron Cemetery

Hebron Cemetery A beautiful, local, historical cemetery dating back to the early 1800's. The cemetery is almost completely surrounded by an antitque, dry fit rock wall.

The Hebron Cemetery is the final resting place for many local families and includes several veterans of the Civil War. The cemetery property also includes a historic, one room church, currently being rented by The Bridge of Hope congregation.

Mowing season is upon us! Please remove and/or do not place items on the ground during mowing season. Doing so prevents proper mowing and weedeating.
We appreciate your help.

It’s that time of year again! Mowing season has begun. Please keep all flowers/decorations off of the ground. This prevents proper mowing and weedeating.

Thank you in advance.

A huge thank you to BR and Kathy Chilton for donating and installing our new cemetery sign!! It looks great!

PLEASE!!!!! DO NOT DUMP your trash or old flowers at the cemetery!!!
Take it with you. We just had a clean up day last weekend and this has happened since then. Everyone associated with the cemetery is a volunteer and donate their time to help it look nice.

This pile is used for extra dirt for digging and covering graves, not trash.

Please do not place artificial flowers on the ground during mowing season.
Also, no planting of live flowers/shrubs.

Cemetery rules and regulations forbid both and violations may be removed by board members for the betterment of the cemetery.

Today, we had a work day at the cemetery. Got lots of work done.

Trash and spent flowers cleaned up, trees limbed up for mowing under, sucker trees taken out, a couple of larger trees taken down, a large over grown shrub taken out (a few weeks ago) and lots of invasive wild honeysuckle removed.
Thank you to our hard working board members and some extra volunteers who helped out.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Cemetery Board Chairman, Forrest Chilton.
Chairman Chilton served the board many years and was instrumental in the the boards accomplishments throughout the years.
Donations to the cemetery in memory of Forrest Chilton may be sent to:
Hebron Cemetery Board
1008 Forest Hill Drive
Lawrenceburg, Ky 40342

His arrangements are as follows:

03/28/2018

We are preparing for the upcoming mowing season. Please remove any decoration that sits on the ground so as not to impede the mowers.
Also, please consider making a donation to the cemetery. The cemetery is funded by donations, which includes mowing. Mowing is expensive and we can only afford to have it done every two weeks. With the amount of rain that we have had already this year, it will be a tough season to keep up.
Donations are tax deductible and checks should be made out to Hebron Cemetery. They may be given to a board member or mailed to 1008 Forest Hill Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
Thank you!
