The Denise Amber Lee Foundation is dedicated to improving public safety through education, training, and advocacy. The conference brings together 911 professionals, first responders, and public safety leaders to share best practices, strengthen emergency communications, and promote lifesaving skills that help dispatchers better serve their communities. Devastated by the loss, Nathan Lee founded the organization to turn his grief into action.

We’re proud of Kayla, Savannah, and Micki for investing in their professional development and bringing back valuable knowledge and ideas that will help us continue providing exceptional service to our community.

Memphis is the son of our employee, Desiree Phillips. Today we want to give a special shoutout and celebrate a huge milestone — high school graduation! This is an exciting achievement and the beginning of a brand-new chapter filled with opportunities, dreams, and adventures ahead.

As we wrap up this special week, Lawrence County E911 wants to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible men and women in law enforcement and healthcare who serve our community each day.

To our law enforcement officers — thank you for your courage, dedication, and willingness to answer the call no matter the time or circumstance. You face challenges most never see, and your commitment to keeping our community safe does not go unnoticed!

To our hospital and healthcare teams — thank you for the compassion, care, and strength you show every day. You provide comfort during difficult moments and work tirelessly to care for our community when it needs you most!

As dispatchers, we have the privilege of hearing the first call for help and working alongside both of these professions every day. We see the long hours, the sacrifices, the teamwork, and the heart behind the scenes. We are proud to be part of the same mission — serving our community together.

Thank you for being our partners, our teammates, and the helping hands on the other end of the call. Your service matters not just this week, but every single day!

We had a great time connecting with students at the career fair for our local high schools today!

A huge thank you to two of our team members, Katie Barnette and Brittany Bivens, for representing our agency and sharing what it means to serve the community through emergency communications. From answering questions about dispatching to giving students a look into the fast-paced world of 911, they did an incredible job highlighting the importance of public safety careers.

We love opportunities like this to invest in the next generation and showcase the many career paths available right here in our community. Thank you to the schools and organizers for having us — we enjoyed meeting so many bright students with big futures ahead! 💛
