Northwestern Switzerland County in southeastern Indiana...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 649 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles south of
Greensburg, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Batesville, Aurora, Brookville, Bright, Versailles, Milan, Osgood,
Dillsboro, Oldenburg, Moores Hill, Lake Santee, Guilford,
Wilmington, Logan, Pleasant, Manchester, Blooming Grove, Sunman,
Metamora, and Hartford.

This includes I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 145 and 168.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Flood Warning
Flood Warning issued August 14 at 6:50PM EDT until August 14 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH
The Flood Warning will expire at 7 PM EDT this evening for portions
of southeast Indiana, including the following area, Dearborn and
southwest Ohio, including the following area, Hamilton.

Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

Dearborn County flooding update. All roads in Dearborn County that were closed for flooding should be open this afternoon except for Pinhook and Longnecker. They are still impassable due to water.

The evacuation order has been lifted. We ask that you use caution on the roadways in the area due to mud and debris possibly being on them still. County highway is cleaning them but they can still have trouble spots.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by the Whitewater River is expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Dearborn County in southeastern Indiana...
West Central Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding along the Whitewater River is lingering in
northeast Dearborn and far western Hamilton County. Several roads
in the area remain closed due to flooding, with some structures
still affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1154 AM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area due to Lingering Whitewater River Flooding.
- The Whitewater River will slowly recede by late afternoon.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Harrison, West Harrison, and areas along Lawrenceburg and
Suspension Bridge Roads north of Elizabethtown.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Flood Warning issued August 14 at 3:08AM EDT until August 14 at 1:49PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH..The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...

West Fork of Whitewater River at Alpine.

Whitewater River at Brookville.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Whitewater River at Brookville.

* WHEN...Until this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flood waters close some county roads and
may affect portions of Route 52. Agricultural lands, campgrounds
and trailer parks flood extensively at this stage. Low areas of
Cedar Grove, New Trenton, West Harrison, Indiana, and Harrison,
Ohio are impacted.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 22.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
morning and continue falling, remaining below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flood Warning issued August 14 at 12:18AM EDT until August 14 at 2:24PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH..The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers...

Whitewater River at Brookville.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Whitewater River at Brookville.

* WHEN...Until this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, This stage is roughly the FEMA 1 percent
flood. Some homes along the river in New Trenton along St. Peters
Road, with flooding also along Barber Road, as well as stretches of
Highway 52 through Franklin County. Flooding occurs along Old Blue
Creek Road near Brookville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 24.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river has crested and is now falling. It is
expected to fall below flood stage this morning and continue
falling, remaining below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
