Assessment Change Notices for 2025 payable 2026 have been mailed out on 4/15/26, there was a publication error, and the notices will not be published until 4/23/2026 in The Daily Record, which will delay the appeal date of the Board of Review to MAY 26, 2026. Bridgeport, Lukin, and Christy Townships were reassessed for their Quadrennial reassessment years, according to the Illinois Property Tax Code. Reassessment for Allison and Denison Townships are being done now for 2026 payable 2027. You may notice young adults out measuring and taking pictures, they are NOT assessing your property, they are data collectors only! Please be courteous and if you have ANY questions, call our office 618-943-2719. Most of your properties have not been reassessed since 1999, the Property Tax Code requires a Quadrennial Reassessment of all properties in the State of Illinois. Your property should be assessed at 33-1/3% of market value.
