The Brunswick County School Board will hold its Regular School Board Meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Brunswick High School Tech Center, Rooms 308/310, located at 92 School Days Drive, Lawrenceville, VA 23868. The public portion of this meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Citizens wishing to speak during the Public Comments portion of the meeting will need to sign in with the Board Clerk before the meeting.

The School Board Meeting will be live-streamed to the Brunswick County Public Schools YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/live/VCB7RPhXaNI).

Public comments at board meetings are just one of many avenues for communication, and the board recognizes and appreciates the importance of input from, and communication with, the public we represent. Please respect the time limitation; it will be enforced. Please understand that it may not be possible to immediately respond to questions. As a reminder, it is inappropriate, at a public meeting, to make personal attacks, to be defamatory, or to disparage individuals or identifiable groups. Again, we welcome and appreciate your input.

June is National Safety Month, and summer is a great time to remind students and families about simple ways to stay safe while enjoying the season! ☀️

Whether you are spending time outside, traveling, swimming, or relaxing at home, please keep these safety tips in mind:

✅ Drink plenty of water throughout the day
✅ Wear sunscreen and take breaks from the heat
✅ Use helmets when riding bikes, scooters, or skateboards
✅ Always swim with adult supervision
✅ Look both ways before crossing streets, and stay alert near traffic
