Hi! I’m Maggie. I’ve just started as the Lawrence County Animal Control Warden. I’ve been doing rescue work for the last 3 years or so and even started a local rescue with some of my rescue friends called New Life Animal Haven.

With the help of friends and volunteers I’m hoping to improve the quality of life for animals in Lawrence County and make improvements to the county shelter which is in rough shape at the moment. We will be transitioning to this new page over the next little while.

LCAC SHELTER RESCUE UPDATE: THESE THREE ADORABLE PUPPIES WERE SENT TO RESCUE YESTERDAY MORNING IN OLNEY.

ALSO, THIS DOG WAS ADOPTED THIS WEEK.
REINA HAS BEEN AT THE SHELTER SINCE 5/30/24.

This was a good week.
