Earlier this week, the Lawrence Township Fire Department had the opportunity to practice their skills at the Sleepy Hollow motel on Route 1 (soon to be demolished). With these acquired structures, we can practice stretching hoselines, cutting roofs for vertical ventilation, and search techniques in more realistic conditons than we can create at a "burn building" or at the firehouse. We are hoping to continue more training this coming week, stay tuned for additional pictures!
