The Green Tea Coalition exists to to find common ground among members from across the political spectrum to create, educate, and advocate for common-sense energy, economic, and development policies that protect our families, diversify our energy portfolio, and create a smart and vibrant 21st century economy where every company and technology competes on a level

The real culprit is the centralized grid structure in Texas. There was failure with gas, coal and nuclear producers as well..
When you have everything so centralized, if you have one catastrophic failure, it causes a domino effect to shut everything down.
I have been advocating for years the dangers of a centralized structure and the need to move to a more decentralized structure
