Please be advised that, starting on September 8, 2026, US Route 206 (between Franklin Corner Road & Cold Soil Road) will be closed at night between the hours of 8pm and 5am. A contractor for Aqua NJ will be reconstructing a portion of the roadway. Detour routes will be posted. Please expect delays and avoid the area if possible.

🐾 FREE RABIES VACCINATION CLINIC 🐾

Lawrence Township will hold a free drive-through rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats over 7 months old on Saturday, October 24, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building.

Pre-registration is required, and no walk-ins will be accepted. Each pet must be registered separately.

Registration closes Monday, October 19 at 4:30 p.m.

We invite members of our community to join us as we remember those we lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.

Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

The Recreation Advisory Committee will meet September 3 at 6:30pm at the Municipal Building. This meeting is open to the public.
The Lawrence Township Recreation Advisory Committee is appointed by the Township Council to work with the Lawrence Township Recreation Department to evaluate recreation needs of township and to plan and promote activities for the residents of Lawrence
